END of an ERA for BANANA CABARET
We're RETIRING at the end of May 2026
Dave Vickers, comedy promoter and the beating heart of Banana Cabaret, has decided to have the last laugh and retire. After more than forty years, our beloved BANANA CABARET will take a final bow, at the end of May 2026.
The next few months are a veritable swansong. Dave has invited many of his favourite acts past and present, to provide a final programme of great live stand up, peppering the lineups with special guests.
LISTINGS and TICKETS up to the end of April are now available. We can't name some of the special guests publicly yet but we'll give our subscribers a heads up in advance each month. Take a look, and secure your precious seated tickets!
The month of May will form the
BANANA CABARET FAREWELL FESTIVAL
5 weekends - 10 nights - listings and tickets to be announced closer to the time.
We look forward to YOU BEING A PART OF OUR FAREWELL!

Where we are
First built in 1931, The Bedford is an iconic venue well known for being a cornerstone of London’s thriving comedy, live music, and entertainment scenes. It’s played host the best in the business from Lee Evans to Lee Mack, from U2 to Ellie Goulding. Eddie Izzard did his first gig here. Ed Sheeran was a regular performer and even recorded his first album here.
Following a multi-million pound refurbishment it is now an unrivalled pub, club, restaurant, comedy and live music venue with 15 stunning hotel rooms. We highly recommend coming for dinner before the show and then partying until 2am for an incredible evening. Find out more;
